Mary Scarlata-Rowe
Mary Scarlata-Rowe is the founder of the Boston Association of Cabaret Artists, an organization that supports the art of Cabaret. Mary fell into cabaret after taking a cabaret class with coach Michael Oster. The experience was life altering and compelled her to build a community where lovers and performers of Cabaret could find a home. She has performed her own Cabaret shows around the Boston area at Ryles Jazz Club, Enzo on the Charles, Club Cabaret, StageLoft Repertory Theater, The Supper Club in Worcester, The Center for Arts in Natick, and other venues.
As an actress Mary has recently been seen at the StageLoft Repertory Theater in Sturbridge as Sister Amnesia in Nunsense and Isabelle in Crossing Delancy. Mary also teaches children's drama classes though Enter Stage Left Theatre, a community theatre group she co-founded with several of her high school friends from Hopkinton, MA.
Mary has sung for many years in churches and currently has a recording out of inspirational music called Shepherd of My Heart. Her music has been played on such radio stations as WERS and WMBR.
